President and CEO
Sungan Choi was elected President of Samsung Engineering in December of 2017. He has been with Samsung group since 1989 and held strong leadership positions in project management for hydrocarbon plants projects, including 6 years in the shipbuilding industry. In 2012, he became the Head of Procurement Division and was responsible for procurement services and supplier's quality control. Recognizing his experience and great business performance in the EPC business over 32 years, he was named as the Head of Hydrocarbon Business Division.
Senior Executive Vice President and CFO, Corporate Support Division
Kangjoon Kim was appointed as the senior executive vice president in December 2018. He joined Samsung Electronics in 1988 and took his first step as a leader of business management when he became the executive in charge of the Corporate Management Group in Samsung Electronics. He served as the leader of the Samsung Electronics Support Group in 2009, the executive responsible for SEMAX(VD) in 2012, the head of the Corporate Support Division in Samsung C&T Fashion Division in 2014, then moved to Samsung Engineering appointed as the head of the Financial Support Division in 2015. Recognized for his immense contribution in stable corporate business management utilizing his years of experience and leadership, he was assigned as the head of the Corporate Support Division.
Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Industrial & Environmental Business Division
Mansu Park was appointed as the senior executive vice president in December 2018. He joined Samsung Engineering in 1990 and served as the head of the Industrial Plant Business Team in 2010 and the head of the Domestic Environmental Business Team in 2011, gaining experience for both industrial and environmental plants during this period. He acted as the head of the Communication Team in 2012, acquiring a first-hand experience on the importance of corporate PR using internal/external media. Recognized for his experience and knowhow gained from performing various projects, he was assigned as the head of the Industrial & Environmental Division. His current interest is focused on developing and applying various technologies required for constructing industrial and environmental plants.
Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing Division
Jaehoon Choi was appointed as a senior executive vice president in January 2020. He joined Samsung Engineering in 1988 and played a pivotal role in promoting Samsung Engineering in the Middle East market as he served as the head of the Hydrocarbon Marketing Team 1 in 2010. He then became in charge of the Middle East Marketing Team 1 in 2011 and further expanded his leadership role by leading the GCC Division in 2012. Going into 2013, covering a wider region as the head of the Middle East and North Africa Team, he extensively contributed in creating new business opportunities for the company and awarded diverse projects through continued partnership with clients and partners. Since his appointment as the head of the Marketing Division in 2014, he oversees the entire hydrocarbon marketing and proposal organizations and is responsible for the regions of Middle East, Asia, Americas, Europe, CIS and Africa.
